Palword’s Celestial Sigils are a crafting item needed to summon the Moon Lord boss. Both the boss and the Sigils were introduced in Palworld’s Tides of Terraria update, which means that the key to crafting the Celestial Sigil lies within the Terraria-themed dungeon.
You can craft a Celestial Sigil at any workbench, even a primitive one. But before you start hammering away, you must collect a Celestial Sigil Schematic as well as 100 Hallowed Bars. As collecting them is a rather time-consuming task without help, this guide will show you how to farm Hallowed Bars quickly and obtain the Celestial Sigil Schematics.
How to farm Hallowed Bars in Palworld
Hallowed Bars are dropped by enemies inside the ‘Sealed Realm of Terraria’ dungeon. The entrance to this dungeon is on one of two small islands just south of Mount Obsidian (the volcanic region). If you haven’t been there yet, the closest teleport waypoint is Fisherman’s Point.
Once you’ve reached the islands, go to the smaller one in the northeast, where the teleport waypoint is located. Walk up the stairs, and you’ll see a large grey statue of a knight. Interact with this statue to teleport to the Sealed Realm of Terraria.
There are three ways to obtain Hallowed Bars inside the dungeon: opening chests, defeating Pals, and breaking pots. Breaking the small brown pots is the most lucrative, especially if you do so using a shotgun; while they usually drop two to six Hallowed Bars, hitting the pots with a shotgun yields 20+ Hallowed Bars instead.
Here’s what the breakable pots look like (plus some bonus Slimes on the right):
While searching for pots, you might want to summon a Pal to fight some minor enemies and get extra Hallowed Bar drops. The Demon Eyes, Green Slimes, and Blue Slimes each drop one Hallowed Bar upon defeat. This may not seem like a lot, but since they’re fairly weak enemies, it’ll net you a nice stack of Hallowed Bars before long.
Wooden chests drop around 10 Hallowed Bars each, but since they’re quite rare, they shouldn’t be your main source of Hallowed Bars.
Remember: You’ll need 100 Hallowed Bars to craft one Celestial Sigil!
How to get the Celestial Sigil Schematic in Palworld
To obtain the Celestial Sigil Schematic, you must find and defeat the Eye of Cthulhu, a boss inside the Sealed Realm of Terraria dungeon. Beware that this is a level 45 boss, so bring your strongest Pals!
Since this dungeon is basically a massive labyrinth, let’s spare you the trouble of finding the Eye of Cthulhu’s location on your own. Starting from the dungeon entrance, here’s a route you can follow:
- Go northeast. In the second open area, turn left to the northwest.
- Turn right at the first opportunity. You’ll see buildings, water, and a glowing cave behind it. Enter this cave.
- Turn left, go straight ahead, then drop down the ledge.
- Turn left again. You will see two golden doorways; the one on the left contains some loot (back away after opening the chest, it’s booby-trapped), and the one on the right leads closer to the Eye of Cthulhu boss arena. You can remove the golden seal with any weapon.
- Go straight ahead. When you see another golden seal on your right side, remove it and follow the tunnel behind it.
- Walk straight ahead again. See the stone building with the large staircase ahead? Walk up to find the Eye of Cthulhu.
The Eye of Cthulhu looks exactly as the name suggests; a giant, floating eyeball. You can’t miss it after you climb the staircase.
Note that the Eye of Cthulhu doesn’t drop the Celestial Sigil Schematic directly – there’s one in each of the chests behind the boss arena, just in front of the dungeon’s exit point.
Go back to your base, where you should be able to craft a Celestial Sigil at any workbench. Now there’s one more thing left to do… Summon and defeat the Moon Lord raid boss.
